The Sunday Blogger

i realised that my last update was on sunday, and seems like i only got the feel to update on sunday, so thast leaves me the sunday blogger! heh. i'll update every sunday then. let's see what happened this week..

Monday-Thursday
let me cut this short. haha. work work work and still work. getting more stress lately cos of the added pile of reconciliation i have to do. ahhh shall not disclose any further. career suicide. anyway, it's boring lahh. nth much. skip.

Friday
TGIF! hmmm. but this friday was not a good one. you see, i got to do OT cos i got to wait for a very impt recon to be handed to me from a malay lady. but being very slow, she shld have given me by 3pm. but it was 6pm and i've not received anything. so without any instructions, i tot im supposed to wait. so i waited. and waited. till 6.45pm. then my immediate boss was around my area teaching another newbie. and there's 2 very fucking irritating ITE girls (1 of them is a perm clerk now) was so loud and they treated the office like their living room. hysterical laughters, shouting at the top of their voices. so damn irritating. then my boss scolded them. but they still continue, still got the cheek to say they waiting for their boyfriend and downstairs dun have chairs for them to sit. grrrr. den my boss mood no good la. den she came to me and ask me alot of qns on recon which i dun really understand. den she kinda say that she ask 10 qns and i dunno 5. b4 this she didnt scold me b4 mind u. and i felt so... speechless. and it was then i was told i dun have to wait. greatttt. think i dun want my friday night?? wasted bloody 45mins there.

within a min i packed up and left. i felt so.. ahh dunno how to describe that feeling. it's like, im being thrown more work, but nobody understands the stress and workload. how great. do on monday morning. as if mondays are not busy enuf. damnit.

went IMM while kg went for her driving lesson. had dinner at fish&co and then went home.

Saturday
drove to bugis to pray with kg, then to chinatown to shop for her grandma's bday gift at OG. bought some toiletries there too. came home and ordered pizza delivery. had 10 drumlets!!! how fufilling. hahahah. watched some tv and sent her home after sinful supper at taman jurong. oh btw, my family went malacca during the weekends, so the house is under my care. ha! slept very late at 4am thanks to the nice teh tarik. lol.

Sunday
woke up at 11am surprisingly early and lai chuang till 12+. bathed and bought lunch and off i went to collect the bags we all bought online at commonwealth. kg came with me though. had a hard time locating her. went to the sheng siong area when she's supposed to be at the clementi town area. duh. troublesome. and to our disappointment the bags are of lousy quality. no more online bags next time. ):
dispatched all the bags and came back to wash the car. finally bought car shampoo at caltex. took more than an hour to clean the car. heh. my form of exercise. after washing it i went to sheng siong for tidbits shopping. have to stock up my tidbits in office. i was so hungry i ate yan yan while driving back home. ha. and that's my sunday for u. (:(:(:

Updates

i need to have the motivation to make myself update this blog more often. and i think i found the source of motivation. i want to update so that my friends, esp very good friends whom i dun get to meet very often, can get the updates of my life. i want to keep a record so that in future when im free, i can backtrack the blog entries and laugh at what i used to write, and even memorable events that happened.

well, this weekend was a weekend well spent. had supper at rochor tau huay with kg after her meetup with her poly friends. we decided to eat in the car and that's when tragedy happened. i accidentally spilled the bowl of almost-finished tau huay towards the handbrake direction and it got into my seatbelt hole, inside the handbrake and on the carpet and seat. spent some time cleaning it and the car couldn't start! i thought i will have to call the towing service already but in the end i restarted it and it was able to start.

on sat, we went actpoint to have a haircut after fetching my mum, aunt and sister to the singpost at paya lebar to shop at this fashion -_- but anson cut my hair too short this time round. oh shit. but nvm. we went suntec to meetup with beak. she was there for the autograph session of her boy. haha. had pastamania for dinner and went to meet sher at holland village coffee club. haha. it's been almost a month since we met up. we went off earlier this time since sher was working early on sunday. fetched them home and then home sweet home.

woke up at 12pm on sunday. went to have our brows trimmed and went jp for lunch at mos. walked around and i have to come home to go for dinner with the family in the evening. it's my mum's 50th birthday tmr! heh. so old liao lor. bought her a bonia handbag. sister treated us and my aunt to dinner at Xin Wang hk restaurant. purposely ordered alot. heh. 100+ for the dinner. walked around and off we went to tampines Courts. nothing much. but i've learnt how to go so next time i can fetch beak and kg to the ikea! heh.

that's all for my weekends. but oh no my pre-monday blues are getting more serious already. whole monday will be blue-y. and i realised lots of ppl are wearing black on monday. haha. ok im off to do my mask liao. hahaha.

i didn't have the courage to admit yesterday, that i've read your entry on lj. and i didn't have the courage to apologise. although i treated as nth much had happened during the meetup, before that i was actually nervous b4 meeting u. i think miscommunications happen when we seldom meet up and chat and stuff like that. but all i want to say is that i really dun mean like what u mentioned in your entry. it was all lighthearted-ly chatting. i didnt realise you perceived it this way though i thought u sounded wierd during the good-byes. as for our dear friend, i dun mean that way when i say 'we are not in a position to tell her what to do'.. i just thought that she will get out of this somehow since she knows what we meant.. anyway, my blog entries are for you, my dear friend. i want to keep u updated of my life and not drifting apart. i want you to leave this country with fond memories of us. and i promise i will continue to blog at least until u finish your studies and come back to sg (:
i just dun have to courage to tell you.. that i'm sorry if i've disappointed u in that chat that night..

my weekends

im here to blog again! heh. weeeee~ work was sianssss this whole week. OTs after OTs. hmm. but we went to Mr Tham's wake on thurs after work. so sad. everything happened so sudden. beak told me over msn that he passed away on monday. life is really unpredictable. a cheerful man who's full of drive and passion for teaching, going all out for his students just left the world suddenly. without him i wun be able to get my abacus cert. really. it was barely 2 months the last time we all took photos tgt with our abacus cert on grad day. sighhhh. glad that his family took all these quite well. hmmm.

anyway, worked OT till 8pm on fri and kg came and we walked to fullerton hotel to see fireworks! so nice. so cooool. ate macs for supper after that and even missed the last train back and took a cab home. yeah. woke up early on sat for OT again! argh. reached office at 9am with Dome's cafe latte and started work. went lengkee to collect my new car after that! heeee. met my parents there and checked the car b4 the SE hand the car over to us. very good service! i took over the wheels and went to a temple at river valley to pray to my grandpa after that. fetched them home after that and me and kg went vivo! my first time there. and we bought an orange rabbit to put in the car! so cute! heh. on our way to chinatown for frog leg porridge, my aunt called and said the car plate number was on 4D's second prize! damnit! it was 8690, but we all (naturally) placed the 0 in front and i bought 0869 only! argh! so smart aleck of us! grrrr. there goes my 1000bucks.

finally get to slp late on sunday. woke up at 11am and watched my hk show till 2+pm den went to tutor elgin. went out with kg after that. went st 41 market for handmade noodles and wanted to go sheng siong near my place to shop for grocery. but it was er... not very good to shop so we went to IMM's giant. saw shirleen there! so qiao. and elliot! so cute. heh. and then went home after that. yup. and tmr's monday... boooo...

Weekends

im here to blog! like finally! hahaha. i'll finish this and go bath before it hits qi's bday! hehehehehe.

firstly, work (which is taking up like 70% of my time) is such a pain in the ass. working OTs for countless days already. freaking tired. my taxi claims are amounting to $80 already! gosh. been teaching a new girl since wednesday and it's slowing down my output. guess i gotta OT on sat since im not gg to work ot on wed. pffffttt. my eyes are getting swollen nowadays and today! i nearly overslept on the train. was dozing off into deep slp and when i realised it, ppl was streaming out of the train at raffles place! omg. den i open my eyes, take a look outside and was widely awake when i see 'raffles place' and got up and ran out. lol. no image at all. still managed to buy tea, my staple drink, b4 gg to office.

ahhh, work aside. chillouts! weekends past so fast before i realise it lah. booo. borrowed the car from kg's dad on fri and went out for supper with her. heh. and went to the temple on sat morning after my tuition lesson. went to sunshine plaza for dim sum after that and waited for time to pass till 1pm b4 we headed to shaw tower for a haircut. decided to call jx, yan and cy out for dinner and so we went back to my hse to get parking coupons. took a short nap and off we went to fetch yan from home, cy from jp and jx from clementi. wanted to bring them to the HK cafe at novena since i've nv been there b4, but i kinda got lost on the way there and couldn't find the way there, so we ended up at holland village instead. had chicken rice at the ipoh horfun there. very nice chicken rice! den chilled at coffee club. cam-whored most of the time and we left at abt 12am. they didnt want to go home, so we went up to jurong hill to take a look. wasn't up to my expectations lah. the fishy smell from jurong fishery port. lol. left after a while and went wcp. yan took over the wheels from caltex and off we went to wcp. played with the very fun slider at the playground and then fetched them home at 3+am. yup and that's my saturday.

kg sleepover-ed at my place since she forgot her keys and we went back her hse at 10am. didnt go to the gym in the end. wanted to go trim brows but we overslept with our nap when we came back to my hse to rest first. she then went back to her grandma's place and i had tapao rice for dinner. heh. that's abt it. i go bath liao! pictures next time!

Driver of the day

im finally blogging! heh. kg made me move my ass to blog. hmmm. lemme see. work's fine, just that the temps ended work already and i miss their presence at work. getting more and more boring at work.

hmm after i passed i've drove like 2 times? haha. yup. last saturday i drove kg and yan from ritz carlton to beak's hse at s'goon gardens. and being a lost sheep at the east area of sg i got lost and we ended up passing by geylang and finally made our way there with the help of sher's colleague. we then went to heartland mall's Xin Wang for supper. nice catching up with them. drove them home after that.

yest, i drove to waterloo street with kg to pray at the temple. then we came back to gek poh to have fish slice soup before fetching my family to hyundai's lengkee showroom. heh. my aunt introduced us a SE and my family bought a 1.4a getz opc, in that hot hot red colour. heh. drove my family home after that. then we went to kg's grandma hse for a nap. i dreamt that i got booked for not displaying parking coupon! so scary. cos i cheated by putting only half an hr but parked for 3 hrs instead. ha. then i fetched kg's grandma to go clementi to fetch kg's mum home. hah.

brought kg's sister out for a spin after that. we decided to go IMM, and called meiyan down too. in the end imm's carpark is full and we went boonlay mkt instead. had dinner there and called jx and cy and see if they are free to go chill. went back to fetch jx and then went NUH to fetch cy and we headed to west coast park macs. my first time there. quite a nice place to chill. lots of ppl there too. chatted till 12am+ and we went off and i fetched them all home. and yup that's abt it. my weekends. lol. sometimes i think driving is very tiring, yet i love to cruise down the expressway alone in the car, singing to the songs on the radio. ha. cant wait for my car to arrive :D

class 3 graduate

I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!!! wooohooo. like finally! 3rd attempt, spending almost $1.3k $2k on it. im now a Class 3 Graduate! hehehehehehe.

woke up at 8 in the morning. had kimchi ramen for breakfast and HL milk. i cant drive without eating. haha. bathed and took a cab there so that i wun be in a rush. finally got the chance to take the new hyundai cab! ha. but i prefer the silvercab kia lah. hmm. reached and instructor let me drive one round outside as it's still early. went into circuit at 10am to practice. wasn't in the perfect condition as i keep forgetting to check, and driving was baddd. was quite worried as there were too many tp cars inside and i only practiced vertical parking once. that was my weakest point. waited outside the room with my heart thumping and tried to calm myself down. ahhh was too familiar with the whole procedure of balloting. lol. now they got sofas for us to sit while waiting! lol.

alamak. i tio a tp tester who's very stern. didnt chat at all. but quite charming lah. haha. this time round i took a deep deep breath b4 i start. and although my legs are sour i try hard not to let it tremble. cleared all the stations without any demerit points. haha. deducted some minor mistakes on the road and i passed! with 10 demerit points. heh. he didnt even want to debrief me. just gave me my paper and ask me to go see video. -__________- oh and im lucky i got the easy route. route 7. not teck whye luckily. phew... ahhh anyway, pass liao! dun need to waste time waste money go lessons again! yeyeyeyeyeyeyey!

Live Earth

it's 07/07/07 today! Earth day. so cool. i started being aware of being eco-friendly only until recently. seated beside a printer at office, i often felt so heart pain when my colleagues print wrong stuff on wrong paper. everyday we shred abt 10 over pieces of paper as there's customers' info in it and we cant recycle. but im very guilty of the styrofoam im using everyday. for my tea, for my breakfast. all the vendors use styrofoam. hmm. im watching Live Earth now and i think its very cool. although like wad FD said over at class 95, its ironic to have us all switch on the TV to watch this event on conserving energy. ha. imagine the waste of power having to set up the concert halls at 7 different countries. but i still think its cool. we shld be constantly reminded to conserve energy.

Here's a few things i can pledge:

-try not to on aircon whenever possible. Do u know that u can save 900kg or $300 a year if u set the temp at 25deg? that's alotttt.

-not to on the tv when im not watching it.

-not to on the fan when im not using it too. im guilty of this. but now i off it when im not in the room alrd. heh.

-TRY not to buy tea so often. i'll buy a tumbler and make my own 3-in-1 milk tea every morning.

-off the switches in my house. this is very impt cos its not a tradition of my family to off it. so guilty. heh.

-bath cold water as far as possible. im guilty of on-ing water heater for a very long time. not goood.

-recycle! i always give Today and My Paper to the cleaner auntie every fri to recycle it. and i want to get the 'I am not a plastic bag' bag when sg sells it! so nice. heh.

okiee i think thats abt it for now. off to watch the concert already!

TGIF! and it's PAYDAY! hehehehehehheh. i suddenly got alot alot of things to buy. but i cant buy all.. :( list out all first.

1. clothes! alot! im repeating 5 sets of clothes every week! luck friday is dress down day.
2. shoes. heels. or whatever i can wear to work comfortably. grrrrr. i hate to shop for shoes.
3. bag. grrr i hate to shop for such stuff.
4. tumbler, or smth that can keep my water warm at my desk. kg says it's not good to drink aircon-ed water. oh wait. i think i got one at home.
5. handphone handphone handphone. my e61i! but i got to slowly save up.
6. BRACES!!! this is very impt. by next jan i hope i can save enuf.
7. a decent watch. ha. not that necessary but still. a nice watch will be good. my bday is half a yr away! hahaha.

aiyah i think that's it. the above is going to cost me like 4k or smth. hmmm. i cant ask for anything more after a payrise :) :) :)

Kukup trip

im back from kukup!! hahaha. i shall post up details of the whole trip b4 the week starts. ok this whole trip was initiated when my uncle told us the RC at his hse there got this 2D1N trip to kukup. that was like 2 mths ago. so altogether there's my family, thats 4 , my aunt, my uncle, 3 cousins and their grandma. total 10. i think it's $85 per pax or smth. yah anyway, woke up at 6.30am on sat morning, and set off for breakfast at gek poh an hr later. boarded the bus at 8.30am and off we go!

Day 1

this is my first time using the biometric method to clear the singapore custom. heh. very cool. and the damn queue at the malaysia customs, but the immigration officer lady was very friendly. serving with a smile and had small talk with everyone at the queue. cool. after that we dropped by a place i dunno wad's the name, for breakfast. but we all ate so we ordered drinks. dam cheap. imagine 10 of us ordered those hot tea and kopi, the bill is only RM10 only. hur. den on we go to kukup. it's at Johor, Pontian, FYI. reached at abt 12+pm and we carried our luggages into the chalet, or how u call that. surprised to see the place developing now. the last time i went there with my mum's company, we only lived in those normal normal house. this time it's like a bungalow. very posh as compared to others. pictures later (:

walked out to the seafood restaurant for lunch. the weather was damn hot! it's like 35 or 36 degrees or smth. and all the motorbike whizzing around isnt helping at all. every household in there owns a bike as its really a long walk, and i dun think they need a license. i see girls younger than me riding, aunties and those uncles can squeeze a family a 4 or 5 in a bike. how cool. and imagine a concrete pathway about 2 metres wide, u got to take note of oncoming bikes and there's alot of ppl there. its like a singaporean fishing town. all singaporeans flock there every weekend to get a taste of how a fishing town lives.

the seafood dinner was great, esp when all the restaurants were built on stilts out at sea. even our chalet is lidat too. all buildings on stilts. ha. after that we walked around but there isnt really alot of things to shop. just those local product like unfried prawn crackers, ikan bilis and all. hmmm. so warm and we decided to go back to our room. 10 of us shared a room and the bed and blankets were better than wad i expected. but the toilets and bathroom is abit.. eh.. haha. went for a bath and we bought ping pong balls to play table tennis there. heh. not long after the ppl there prepared BBQ food. and they bbq-ed all the food for us, like another seafood dinner. ha. so we had Stingray (which was very good. they added lady fingers too), chilli sotong, butter bbq prawns, malaysian small fishballs, muar otah, kangkong and alot lah. watermelon and kukup's very own agar agar for desserts. the ppl there were so hospitable and kept asking if we want to add anything else. we had a second serving of stingray (:

the locals bought fireworks and me and my cousins stood nearby and watch the mini fireworks. damn cool. listen to those aunties uncles sing karaoke which erm, not very pleasing to my ears, and then watch A Good Guy on channel 8. yes they can receive 933 and local channels. i went to bed first at 2330, and slept all the way till 7am. the aircon was soooo colddd.

Day 2

bathed and had breakfast that's prepared by them. very nice. beehoon with sunny side-ups and a cup of hot milo. hang around and went back to the room to catch a nap till 1130 den off we go. lunch at another seafood restaurant this time. had crabs, prawns and all. not bad. after some shopping for local products and off we go from kukup. the bus driver was from KL so he didnt really know the way, we took 2.5hrs to reach Jusco Tebrau City. ha. super cool shopping and super big. like 2 times vivocity. alot of singaporeans flock there too. but shopping with family isnt really fun. and we got time constraint. levis not cheap this time, but my cousin got one for himself. didnt buy dunkin donuts as i cant finish it, but another family bought cake from Secret Recipe and i heard that its RM5.50 a slice only. how cool.

the uncle lost his way and we took 1 hr to get to our dinner location. it's a restaurant at a sports complex. very nice food! sharks fin,prawns,roast chicken,steam fish and all. cool. a couple are holding their wedding there after we had dinner. yeahh and we cam back thru causeway after that. so scary! it's been long time since i use the causeway liao. jammed up all the way! and the motorbikes were scaryy. so many of them! argh. anyway im back in one piece!

overall i rate this trip... 3.75/5. if not for the many many houseflies that fly around in the chalet, though they are retarded houseflies, and the super hot weather, the lousy fish i had on the first lunch, the cleanliness of the toilets and the freaking causeway, it'd be perfect (:

work, work and work

it's been quite some time since i last blogged. well, lots of things happened. not going to elaborate of cos but i shall talk abt work since it's taking up 80% of my time.

hmm well. im slowly adapting to the working life. not yet but it takes time. i still cannot accept the fact that i have to wake up at a bloody early time of 6.40am every morning. i've not been waking up so early after sec4. :( very tiring. but i've shifted my slping time ahead. which is a good thing. i get tired at 12am. asleep by 1am usually. my biological clock is still not used to waking up at 0640. but anyway, if i dun eat cereals for breakfast at home, i can wake up at 7am. get out of the house latest by 7.30am. den take the jam-less 243 to mrt station, den catch the train and usually standing and squeezing all the way to raffles place. i think im quite lucky to live in boon lay area. ha. i'd reach raffles place at abt 0820 to 0825, grab a toast and nice milk tea at $1.70, and go up to office, read Today and den start work. boooo. job's quite boring. checking app forms, approving letters to be sent out to customers, sign them and send them to mailroom. den check app forms again, den go for lunch, den come back and somehow continue working till 6pm. feel sleepy everytime. ha.

OTs are hectic. although the job's not very taxing, i got comfortable office, dun have to use much of my brain to work, but dunno why so tired. haha. thinking of wad to wear everyday sucks too. aiyah i'll not bother my readers with my boring life.

but eh, since i only slp, eat and work everyday, i got nth much to blog liao. haha. bye. i'll continue to watch Healing hands 3.

Work

TGIF!!!!!!

the first week finally passed. eh, i think real work is not up yet so im kinda slacking my first week away. imagine slacking 3hrs out of 8.5hrs. ha. everyday i'd slack till 930am (1hr) den i got smth to do, finish liao, fake fake use computer as if very busy.. but was acutally checking out the leaves, the OT claims and stuff, and idling away, den at 11am everyday i'd get so sleepy i nearly dozed off, den slack awhile, 12pm!! time for lunch. after lunch, slack half and hr till the girl comes back to give me stuff to do, den somehow the time will get to 6pm. hahahaha. other than thinking of wad to wear to work which is such a headache, work has been fine. the girl 'tested' me to see if im up to it. so i think next week gotta do OT liao. but i need to earn some keep. pay is way too low.

anyway, my jobscope for the moment is the double check and tally the system's customer profile with their application form. there, that freaking Fairprice Plus debit card. i heard they still haven reach out to like 100k customers. :( den do abit paperwork, slack abit. that's abt it. and the thing i like abt the bank is we get freedom. although its a 8.30am-6pm job, its ok to come in at 8.35 or 8.40 lah, if u not paiseh. but i'd usually reach at 8.20am, read Today and My Paper, den make some milo and start slacking. ha. aircon is soooooo cold there i think i better bring my blazer there. hahah.

as for the Claims, i get very pathetic OT pay lah. $8 an hr, capped at maximum $32. hmph. anyway OT at most also 4 hrs. but i can claim $8 meal allowance if i work till 8pm and later. if i work till after 9.30pm, i can claim taxi fare too. but i'd have to go to OCBC's intranet to download the claims form and hand it up on the 3rd day of each month. apply leave on the intranet too. i've applied my graduation leave liao. ahha. kiasu. still 1 mth away. anyway i've got 13 more days. oh and the free GP for my medical leave includes the doctor i go to the last few times im sick! that nanyang clinic at st 91. ha. freeeeee. and medical leave another 14days.

oh. and for the past few days, esp on the first day. tgt with me, there's 3 more other contract staff. and the rest abt 10 are temps. and i was wondering why there's this erm, big-sized lady tgt with us, was wearing quite nicely and formally. and she looked like she's got experience. and i thought she's also bank officer like us, until yest then i realised, she's on a 1 yr contract Assistant Manager. like, WHOA. hahha. my future boss. ahhaah. and ok lah. she also live in jurong west. lol. and i took train back with her just now. we were gossiping on how wierd the other girl was. ew.. dun get me started on that wierd girl. lol.

ok! going to slp now! lastly, TGIF!!! dress down day!

i was editting my wishlist here. then i realise i've gotten some of my wishes already. that damn diploma, and a good job. getting that cert on graduation ceremony but seems like not many ppl is going and i haven decide on whether or not to go, and a job that i once wished i can do. let's hope my luck will change for the better from here onwards.

i also realised how to weigh my needs and wants. when accumulated, i've earned like more than 5k for the past 4 years since after Os, but saved less than 5% of it. how pathetic. i used to waste my money on useless stuff when i could have saved the money up for rainy days. like how i spent my money on that crumpler when i could have gotten something nicer and more value for money. like how i used to get that ipod nano which cost slightly lesser than 400. like how i spend abt 400,too, getting that DS lite. (ok lah this one is quite worth it ok)

like how i hoped to buy a gucci handphone strap when it's completely useless and i got myself a black leather one from japan for abt 10% of the price of a gucci. sighhhhhh. how frivolous i used to be.

aiyeh, not point regretting now. i gotta work hard and get promoted and be a rich banker! lol.



P/S: someone cloned my friendster account just yesterday. she's wierd lah. i dun even know her and she used the same name but in big small letters (LiKe ThIs) and used an anime pri pic. i hate anime lah. she even added 5 of my friends in my account. but wierd thing is, only my friends can access my profile. so? how she got to know me? OR IS SHE TRYING TO KNOW SOMEONE FROM MY FRIENDSTER?? hmmmm. wierd.

had my 4th tuition lesson just now. and after the lesson then the tutee found the exam timetable. and it's next tuesday -______- like??? he doesnt even know when are his exams. mid years somemore. i asked him abt his target and his was to get 50 for maths. -_- i'd hope he get anything more than that so my reputation will be better. heheheh. boys will be boys. he dun even bother to write statements which marks are given. and are weak at fractions but i can see light in him cos he's so good at trial&error. something i dun even understand but he love it. lol. good at MCQs too. but calculations are so shaky. bleah. i hope he passes his Section C. i think my teaching instinct is increasing. i was so proud when he passed the test paper i gave him for homework. whoa. although it's a 51 but i was so proud cos he'd never pass math b4. and i helped his p5 sister with a problem sum which took me like 2mins to realise wad the qns was talking abt. i dun think she completely understand wad i taught her, but nvm lah. aiyahhhh. girls are so soft spoken. lol.

had supper with shir after that. Breko. freaking full. and sinful and guilty. haha. i think i shall do some sit-ups later. oh and they serve Magnolia chocolate milk and they claimed it's Iced Chocolate. and they even served Iced espresso to shir instead of Iced tea! ew. i think im spoilt by Dome's service. hahaha.

im getting more and more frustrated when i hear my mum nag. when i say nag i really mean nag. those non-stop kind. she just nagged at me for like nearly 30mins. non-stop nagging. i suddenly feel like im Tay ping hui in the show kena naggings by his wife. ): she can nag from the job i've got, to how much im giving her a month, to how i spend my money, to where i cut my hair and the most lethal one, why i always go out and waste transport money. i really wish i can like shut her up and i guess most of us cannot stand mothers' nagging. it is really getting on my nerves already.

ahh, speaking of job, i've finally got a job. at OCBC. at Card Operations as a credit card processor (eh, sound like some computer chip), processing the incoming credit card applications. im starting my very first contract-based job on monday. although the pay package is like so-so only, i love the benefits. 14days annual leave from now till 31dec when my contract ends, 14 days MC, 60 days hosp leave and all that. oh and even company clinic for doctors. not bad at all. and a bonus of something lesser than my pay at the end of the contract. hmmm. but the downside is i have to squeeze train with the morning and evening crowds. heh but i can go to work and go home with kg and yan who's working at bugis. (:(:(:

and i've finally come to terms with my mum that i'll give her 250bucks and 50bucks to my dad per month, which leaves me like less than 1000bucks. so miserable. i got to buy more office wear, a comfy shoes and a haircut tmr. and cos of the haircut my mum nagged like 10mins. "why cant u cut at gekpoh(the neighbourhood shopping centre) so u can save on transport cost and yaddah yaddah yaddah" arghhh. and ever since my mum know how to sms she kept haunting me with smses. bleahhh.

went for lunch with sher at Congress for the much missed Wanton mee we always ate during IMF. shopped around at fossil b4 going to raffles city. so bored lah. den we made our way to raffles place cos i gotta sign contract at 5.30pm, and after sher told me den i realise there's Dome at the opposite UOB plaza. a great coffee fix next time if i ever need some. cheaper than starbucks and nicer too. we slacked there and i had my iced choc with gelato and chicken rings we shared. made my way to Bugis after i signed the contract and had Mos burger for dinner with kg and yan. came home to watch the funny 9pm show after that. (:

cable tv

yeah! my dad finally succumbed and i finally got cable tv like, finally?! hahah. we'd have it long ago if not for my dad refusing to subscribe to one, saying we've all got no time to watch since our tv time is only 7-10pm daily. but i've got to admit starhub is really good at their marketing. seeing that my sister's account got maxonline and mobile plan but not cable tv, they sent this very nice malay guy up to my doorstep to promote their cable tv. they even came up with a plan that waivers the installation fee and all that crap and a plan that ties only 4 months. AND! once we give a nod to this plan straightaway got a installation guy to install the set right away.

3 basic group + 1 asia channel = $18.90

i chose Education, and the 2 other chinese group but unfortunately i dun have Pimp my Ride! argh. and channel 48 instead of 55 cos of my parents. and my mum is paying now. after that if we were to continue we'll get that value pack which consists of 3 groups+ 3 asia channels! which means i get both 48 and 55 and one more random asia channel for $39.90 (i pay). but if not continuing i suspect my mum wants me to split maxonline with my sister which is like $30? nahhh i rather pay for this.

heh so cool. finally got cable tv. let's see if my dad wants to watch it anot. lol. and better marketing! now i get to watch ALL channels for a few days. so we will get interested and start subscribing more mah :/ but it's good! pimp my ride later at 1230am! >.< im now a happy kid.

i dun understand why is coming online a must. i have to come online every night, then to find that i got nothing to do. very sian. den go to my daily feeds website- hardwarezone.com, gmail, kpo on ppl's blog, and then nothing more already. randomly, i'll go to job searching websites, drop some resumes every night, then chat with the usual ppl online. beak, kg, sher, and yan. yeah that's my small circle of friends. and then we will all complain abt being bored esp sher. haha. i think we shld do something meaningful online. but i dunno what.

and after looking at ppl's nick on msn, i realised that weihong is enlisting on 15june. not that i care abt that, but this C guy is also enlisting on the same day. hmmmm. yeah like wad weihong's nick says "boys to men".

oh and there's this job offer that made my day. OCBC is having this Polytechnic Graduate Bank Officers Training Programme. which says they will train fresh grads like us, starting from a teller for 1 yr, and jump to some other dept, and then another 2 yrs later will go to some specialised dept. sounds so so so cool. $$$$$$$$. hahha. and we've applied. hope to get an answer from them soon. i felt so bad ever since i rejected 2 interviews. 1 from the integrated marketing coy in Kallang, and another one from IRAS. govt sector leh. i bet my mum will nag like mad if i told her i rejected the interview. haha. but novena leh! and they got strict requirements. i was instructed to bring a photocopy of my certs, and the original ones, reach 10mins b4 the interview and go to level 23 to find some dunno who and den dunno who, let them verify my certs, and then proceed to the interview. wad the heck?? 11am somemore. aiyah forget it. private sector better. oh and i think we're giving Popular's interview a miss. they are really stingy. only offering $5-$5.50 for experienced admin ppl like us. hur. even beak earn more than that! haha.

ha. and i got the urge to blog after i heard True-Ryan Cabrera at beak's blog. i dunno why. i lost the song after i reformatted my laptop. and yahhh her boy sang it on ylbfb. haha. niceeee. i mean ryan cabrera's nice. haha. =X

OH! and of cos lastly. wenwen! haha. so cute! see how much she grew over 1 week. haha. more hair!she already know how to flip and flip by herself already! and she's getting the hang of how to sit up straight when she is lying down alrd. so cutee! <3

sundays

sundays are a bore. that is if im still jobless. if not like wad beak said, it's their precious 24hrs break. haha. hmm kg came in the noon and we had our fish slice for lunch at gek poh. slacked at my house watching tv programmes after tv programmes. and ate the Japan Nabisco vanilla cream crackers i bought yest. nice! we watched HDB taitai, bai jia le, price of peace, den ji xiang ru yi and then her dad came and we went jp. they went to get phone for her sister, while i went to look for my mum, sister and aunt who went there earlier on. had dinner at kopitiam since my mother dun like pizzas. haha. had korean food from a new store there. very nice! spicy pork BBQ with rice, soup, kimchi and ikan bilis. haha. too much pork than rice. ended off with mango chendol. haha. it's been a long time since i went NTUC with my mum. i grabbed HL milk, the thai nissin tomyam and 5 bottles of yakult original! hahaha. heavenly. oh and i kup-ed $10 from my mum to top my ezlink! how wonderful it is to go out with mothers. free groceries and ezlink money! hahaha.

and heard from kg her dad bought her trackpants at RSH. haha. how good it is to go out with parents. heh. sundaysssss.

Life

im still around! haha. left the blog idle for so many weeks already. im forced to blog cos kg kept pestering me. ha!

anyway, life's like that lor. not that i got a job already. hmm. still some random work at al dente (which suck i think. i mean the no. of working days) and some bumming around. hmm went for my 2nd attempt of driving test yest, and initially i tot i passed since the tester didnt say anything and i did nth wrong except for the vertical parking striking kerb, but in the end i was so shocked that i had 1 immediate failure. the tester kept saying i got 3 mins to do ANYTHING I WANT to my parking. so i didnt realise that points will be accumulated for that and i stupidly re-park the car. he didnt even warn that 3 mins will be up soon. and in the end i failed cos i exceeded 3 mins. and he deducted so many points out of that parking. but after that he praised my parallel parking and on the road driving, that i tot i passed. -_______- false hope. and im disappointed. but i nv cry this time ok! hahaha. nvm there's always a 3rd time. 9th july, which falls on my dad's bday. hope he'll give me some luck (:

oh! and other than driving test and slacking, the week was spent with yuwen! hahaha. my new love! heh. she's so so so adorable! hahaha. at 6 mths old she can already scream and scream and speak some baby language. and her legs are so powerful! she'll 'hmm hmmmm' to signal u to carry her, den when u carry her she'll bend her legs to signal that she wants u to carry her high high! haha! so cute! do that repeatedly (which causes ur hands to ache) and she'll flash her smile and her deep dimples! haha! and when she hear us reach she'll wake up from her nap immediately, not crying at all. sooooo cute. haha. she's so scare of humidity she'd sweat her scalp and make her little and fine hair wet. haha. oh and she's teething already!! she likes to use our fingers to cure the itchiness in her gums. pictures!!she attempted to stick her feet into her mouth. and she did it. haha.
so cute! oh and we were wondering why she didnt smile when we kept playing with her. and the reason was cos she was hungry! her grandma fed her some milk and she began squealing and playing with herself again. so cute! oh btw i forgot to mention, she's kg's cousin. hahah.

Day 1

Started work today. Basically our tasks are to assist those chefs make canapes , mini bite size food, for The Phantom of the Opera reception. actually i shldn't be there today. i dunno why im asked to go down. nothing to do at all. i reached at 1445, chatted with yan and yl who were resting, and chef eric cooked tomato based fresh bacon speg and penne (which i think is not really nice) and we started eating at abt 4pm. see how much i slacked. den after meal they went off and i was left alone at al dente.

i was left sitting at the restaurant till about 5.30pm and then eric realised i cannot go into the theatre cos they didnt report my name , no access hence. but i still helped eric bring up 2 trays of food for the pre-performance. and then i went back and was told by another chef to help cut bread. i think 1 packet is abt 200 pieces? i duno. i cut 2 packets, 1 for burger 1 for the asparagus thing which was so yummy i ate 2. haha. den i had nothing to do, and customers started streaming in. i cut 9 big packs of fresh button mushrooms which were very nice to cut btw, and i was standing at the bar area beside kitchen. observing them. cool. they got this fireplace to bake pizza with this dunno wad wood fire. and i kept hearing Lamb Shank orders. haha. and i saw how they make desserts. Creme Brulee. very cool. they put some sugar on it and used gas to burn it a little. den decorate it. tiramisu was crap i think. and the choc fondue was worse. food was quite overpriced. their wild mushroom soup, which look exactly like the one we had at Olio, was going at $10. pastas from $20, and i didnt notice the rest. i rather go Thai Express! so tempting beside us. haha.

after cutting the mushrooms i went into the chiller to wrap it and keep it. and i steal eat strawberries. very nice! sweet. and i ate 2. haha. went to get iced water and i went to the Gluttons Bay beside al dente and got mee soto as i was hungry. finished it at 10pm, and eric said i could leave cos there's nth i can do. :/ and i dun have to go tmr! hehehe.

i think my mother is a very big motivation for me to look for a job faster. why? i've not taken a cent from her ever since i ended school. i was so broke that i had to eat 4 pieces of peanut butter bread and crackers and milo for my lunch when im at home. she didnt even ask if i need money. like, fuck? i was thinking of asking her for some pocket money to at least pull through next week and the moment i got home just now, i got scolded like some dog. i didnt help her hang clothes before i go out in the morning. and she even purposely told my dad about it. like wtf lah! i must find a job quick. and i swear im not giving her more than $200 a mth. i mean it. i cant stand my mother and that fucking sister already.

i want to move out of this house asap.

anyway, went back to sec sch with kg, yan and sm in the morning trying to get testimonial from them. but there wasn't any testimonial for us. what a lousy school. took a cab to coronation arcade for the Thai Noodle House! and damnit that lousy cab driver forgot to exit at eng neo ave and exit at lornie instead. pui. and he refused to discount the cab fare! complain complain! anyway the thai food was great! took bus to vivo to catch The Pursuit of Happyness. nice show (: but i can say im not a happy person in terms of financial status. and the family crap.

3. I'm obsessed with cars. and i love spending time alone on bus looking out the windows staring at cars. i think this is wierd. i can recognize every car i spot. haha.

4. Yes, like sher, i think im an introvert. i only show my true self to my very close friends. and i react differently to different ppl. like i treat my sister differently from my parents. some close friends from other friends.

5. i love IT gadgets. but not as much as how i love cars.

6. ahh.. and lastly, yes like sher again, i love spending time alone with myself. but im better than her! i ate alone many times! i love going school alone, taking bus alone, very ok with eating alone. but i'll feel wierd if i eat alone. why muz there be a crowd at meals to feel normal? i cannot understand. i had mee soto alone at gombak once before i went for driving lesson. sat alone at BK with my DS while waiting for kg. i even went to town alone before! woah!

IT show 2007

the 4 days ended quite fast. working for canon is like the only job i really enjoyed doing. this was the last time we are working as a recording girl. i was at the redemption booth this time round, and worked with a guy from the air force. haha. so many ppl bought canon printers that the queue was so freaking long and we were so busy, and barely had the time to eat dinner and go toilet. but time past so fast. getting my thumb sored with blister and fatigue setting in at my spine seemed also enjoyable too. there were so many ppl on sunday and it feels like every Singaporean was there. newspaper said it set new record high at about more than 700,000 ppl went for the show. haha. scary.

I need a job.

looking for a job has never been easy. all these while i've been filling up resumes by resumes for different online job agencies, sent applications to positions that will not revert back if they are not hiring you (and keeping your resume for further reference. yeah righttt). from Singtel to some ulu ulu companies. and although Adecco called me about a job offer, i think im taking too long to consider. it's a position of an Accounts Assistant at a company at Tuas. the wierd thing is, i dun have to know much abt accounting. as mentioned, the knowledge i acquired from the accounting modules are enuf. 9-6pm, 5 days week. a temporary 3-4 months job. willing to wait for me till mid march. i think i shall accept that if they are willing to give me $1.9k hahaha.

i hate to look for jobs. interviews. anything and everything. just. suck.

7th day

it's everybody's birthday today! happy birthday! haha. i spent the birthday dinner alone at home today. anyway, yesterday's reunion dinner with kg,yan,cy,jx and shiming was great! had tomyam steamboat with nice prawns and fishballs! we couldn't finish all the food btw. and we played mahjong after dinner! yan's dad bought new mahjong tiles and mahjong table. cool! and we all stayed over and play till 6am just now. we are getting older! i can feel my entire system not functioning properly anymore, and had to catch a nap till 9am before we wash up and go for macs breakfast! very fun very fun. my first time staying over at yan's crib. had fun gossiping and shuffling the tiles quietly. lol. anyway me and kg lost abt $6 each. took cab home after hotcakes breakfast and wanted to slp b4 my mum asked my to buy lunch for them. den as i was falling asleep, kg came. lol. she helped yan write her resignation letter and surfed net while i tried to slp. in the end we were soooo tired we both fell asleep till 6pm! slept half the day. haha!

hmm anyway, cny was a bore after the first few impt days. watched 'just follow law' at jp with kg the other day. wad a sucky movie. i want to watch Letters from Iwo Jima the next time. haha. relatives' coming my house tmr. mahjong again! how fun. gotta slp now! ciao!

Chinese New Year!

Phew! the 3 most important CNY days are over! haha. i kinda enjoyed myself this year as compared to previous years. no doubt it's boring, but those gambling made my day :D

1st Day
As usual, had to eat the sucky vegetarian breakfast as my family are a chu yi half day vegetarian. haha. slacked and watch tv till noon den off we go to maternal's side at Yishun, which is freaking far btw. PIE,KJE,BKE,Mandai, and then all the to yishun. took abt 35mins to reach. so long. i cant imagine myself driving there. haha. it's super boring there every year. had very nice home cooked lunch, den stared blankly at the tv before they started blackjack. watched my mum play for awhile and off we go to my paternal side.

this is the fun part! after collecting angpows from my 10 over aunts and uncles, my cousin called me in to the room for mahjong! hahaha. played 30cents 60 cents divide by 2 and i have no idea why i still can lose $48. grrrr. but my dad paid so it's still ok! haha. mahjong is a very good entertainment man! haha. played till dinner time and we had dinner and back we go to play. went home at abt 8+ i guess. and that's end of chu yi, finally

2nd Day
went to my 3rd aunt's house at woodlands. this time its ultra boring. imagine reaching at 1+, den sat down and watch the jacky wu show, which is quite entertaining btw, till 3pm, den had lunch, and den back to the couch watching the show till 4+. my sister even fell asleep. so boring so boring. went to my uncle's house at redhill after that. very nice Zen decor they have. i'd love to live at that area, which overlooks alexandra komoco from his living room. very ex flat btw. $342k for a 4room. hmm. but the location is good. anyway, we couldn't find a second table for mahjong and the first table was occupied by the elderly. haha. no choice but to stick to my dad and watched them play mahjong and walk around till 8+ den we came home.

3rd Day
went to my 5th aunt's place at woodlands. this time! coincidentally! i saw kg! haha. me, my mum and sister took cab to the place, den kg was telling me she's at blk 505. im like eh? jurong or woodlands. haha. den went she told me woodlands, im like !!! im at blk 504! hahaha. walked over to the flat and we chatted for a while at the void deck. and her mum gave me angpow! haha. was playing blackjack all the way so not that bored afterall. haha. won $20! but filial me gave my mum $4 as promised for the cab fare. haha. she lost alot i think. hmm. anyway, went to my gu gu's hse at telok blangah. this time, they had 2 tables but we got not enuf legs to play. haha. so i sat down and watch my dad play. he won $32! :D very little lah but better than nth. my aunt won $200 over! cool. haha. and they say my dad is getting slower and slower, which i think so too. haha. mahjong always seem so fun when i see them play. lol. came home at 11pm.

going sher's house for mahjong tmr! haha. so excited can. going sch to chop the certs before going her house! cant wait cant wait. its making me so high. haha!

we are unofficially graduated from ngeeann! lol. hope we all can graduate successfully(:
stayed up and studied ATM till 3am yesternight, leaving with only 3+hrs to sleep. reached sch earlier today and had some last min studying in canteen1. my heart was thumping so loudly before the paper and this is the first(and the last) time i had this feeling. hurhur. the paper was quite ok but thanks to my mistakes and not studying the freedoms of the air properly, i lost about 20 over marks. haha. anyway its over! rejoice, people!

went to holland village and met kg there for the manicure and pedicure. the whole thing was so slow it took about 2 hours, and 65bucks each to do our nails. nearly fell asleep while drying nails and kg had to waste some more time by dozing off and spoiling one of her nail! haha. had curry noodles for lunch and Provence donut while on the way to town. met sher at Isetan and we walked to Paragon for M&S. yeah i bought my lingerie there! haha. settled on one item already. den we went Heeren but the Mooks shirt dun really suit my cargo pants, so we proceeded to OG orchard point. bought my undies and another item down! after that we split up; sher back to dome to look for her pouch, and me, kg and beak went to Centrepoint instead. shopped at Gap and i ended up buying a not-so-formal long sleeve top there. and kg bought a stripped polo tee there. haha. rushed to heeren to meet sher and we went NUM. they said the sandals dun suit my wear, so we went Check and kg bought her le coq tee for 2nd day there. oh! and i bought the Gold Crocs Prima there. whaha. and that ends my(our) shopping for the day! TOTAL DAMAGE: SGD240!! hahaha. i haven't spend so much money within a few hours for very long already. haha.

we all were so freaking tired and hungry we settled at Wheelock's Fish&Co instead of glass house's. nice dinner with good company :):):) had lots of kola tonic there. haha. chatted till 10pm and we all went home.

1 down!! wahahaha! yes, that bloody CEM is down finally. hate that paper the most. dun even understand what im studying. cant memorize as well. argh! anyway it's over. the paper was quite okay as compared to kg and sher's batch, alot of it was based on tutorials. haha. hope i can pass the paper and get a D or D+! im satisfied!

IB's next on monday. another heavy module full of essays. oh but i like IB more than CEM. it's more of current affairs, something like IEF. quite fun but no joke when it comes to essays. i suck at essays. i love to read the textbook, but i dun like to memorize it =/

ATF was shit! argh. my feet are so tired now but i shall blog b4 i go to bed (:

anyway, i had hell on monday. went to sch to return the abacus exercise to ah chew and did peer evaluation for our last project, then had lunch with kg at canteen 1 and went off at 2pm to Liang Court audio house to get the stupid samsung warranty card. i figured that i shld take 961 since it stops at clarke quay, but i didnt know i gotta walk across the whole clarke quay before reaching that deserted liang court. took a bus to bugis after that and i got to walk all the way from the mrt station to burlington square! damnit. and then to realise that the home theatre system cannot be redeemed yet till the thing starts on 1feb, and i took a cab after this wasted trip down to sch to meet kg to print the transcripts. ngeeann is a bloodsucker! we paid so much redundant misc fees each sem, and now we have to pay for those bloody transcripts with our each semester's grades, gpa and credits at $3 per sem! so that's $12 for 4 sems. argh. anyway, took the maid tshirt from eunice ho and off we go to jp.

wanted to watch Babel, but GV jurong point doesnt screen that, so we went for Fish&Co for dinner. seafood platter for 2 as usual.

ATF. wasn't wad i expected. the whole system is as lousy as the shirt. quite screwed. and we stood there ushering for 4hours on our heels! bloody painful. and the 3-course dinner at the end didnt make things better. very lousy food. i think the cem project we did was much better. heh.

those aching muscles are no joke. fucking pain ok. argh. imagine climbing the stairs to blk72 lift for 1st time, then to realise classroom changed to blk25. den climb down again, and climb down the underground to blk56 stairs, after tutorial climb the stairs to library, and the big stairs to co-op, and the damn stairs in lt22. after lecture, climb up again, and climb the convention stairs to blk 53 (another stairs in between) to submit my resume and then going downhill to blk72 again with that same damn lift stairs, only to drop my coin at Vins. beak and my reaction was damn classic-- the 'huh?!?!?' face while staring at the 5cents coin in disbelief. LOL. i took like 10sec to bend down and stand up. wahaha. oh! and my thumb is still pain from the sprain. hurrrrrrrrrrrr.

hope those aching muscles can recover tmr after i applied my almighty COUNTERPAIN deep heat rub. the heat was damn song. u guys shld apply some heat rubs too. kg- aiyah dun need lah hor. so strong! wahaha. beak- u had trouble getting up from the toilet bowl too. shld apply whatever koyok u have. del- apply on ur armpits! wahahah.

I AM SO ANGRY!!!

hmph! we spent $5 for nothing! that bloody idiot cabbie! omg!!! damnit! that fucker actually drove at 50kph on the way from holland village to clementi! arghhhh. so slow! road hogging! he pressed that whatever button u call that, the one that starts the meter, immediately after we boarded, and even got the cheek to slowly eat his sweet and den start driving like 30sec later. and he was so s...l...o....w... kg commented 'we can drive better than him lah' and we chose to drop off at clementi instead. he was bloody coughing without covering his mouth! omg! and den i purposely unwind the window. hmph!! and when we are going to alight he actually said 'be careful while crossing the road hor'! he want to curse us is it?? damnit i shld have said 'u also hor uncle, dun get into an accident!' hmph! and he actually got the cheek to not pay me 1ocents back when the meter reads $4.90 and i gave him 5bucks. wtf?! @#$%^&$#@!knnbccbmuthafuckingcheebye cabbie!!!!!!! feel like killing himmmmmm!

ANYWAY, hahaha. napfa test today. lol. gave up my silver award at 2.4km run. heh. no more energy lah. who the hell puts 2.4km together with other 4 stations?? anyway i dun care lah. at least i participated. and did better than before at the 4 stations. hahaha. had dinner at al-ameen with SPLAT! after that. very hungryyy. haha. proceeded to holland v to eb for a drink. yucky baby potatoes. haha. left at 10.30pm and got on that stupid cab la! arghhhh.

oh i hurt my poor thumb while doing standing board jump. ahahaha. and my stomach muscles will ache soon.. 35 situps! heh. personal best record in 1 min. hahaha.

Friday

what a friday!! reached ATM lesson at 11.30am cos of that stupid 185 i insisted on waiting at my bus stop. ah chew's lesson was as boring as usual. but i respect her quite abit. a very nice lady but too bad she doesn't really know how to teach. lol. ended at 1pm and we all, the events ppl (me,beak,del,lays,limei,jephthah,wana,yati,jiaying and blah blah blah) took bus to town together for the ATF pants fitting. reached Lido at 2pm and went up to have lunch. had subway. very nice subway they have! very hot, unlike jp's cold cold 'hot' sub. met with the STB rep called Majorie or something at 2.30pm. we're supposed to go Bibi&Baba, sch uniform tailor at Shaw house office building. and omg! their black pants sucks! the zip was like so damn long i think i'll wear it up to my stomach. haha.

in the end we all went This fashion at far east. no nice pants. and the place sucks. i hate this fashion. hmm and den proceeded to G2000 at wisma. lucky they're having sale. those $23 formal pants were a gazillion times nicer than the bibibaba ones, and it fits STB's budget of $30 per pants, so some bought at wisma, while me and the rest got it at taka's branch where they have the majority's sizes. not bad a pants i can say. kg's mum will help me alter the length! yey! lol.

oh and at taka's G2000 we saw this fucking disgusting woman. she wore a blazer and a very very short black skirt. and she's like 3 times the size of kg can!! omg. and we can literally see her bums shake as she walks. and best of all she was revealing her white drapping underwear! we all nearly puked. damn disgusting.

anyway, i went back to shaw house's dome to meet kg and sher. beak and the rest went PS as lays still couldn't get her size 3 pants. lol. had my favourite chicken rings! and chocolate gelato too. shopped around for CNY's clothes but got nothing as usual. anyway i've decided to buy a couple of Mooks t shirt, and alter the brown cargo pants i have and maybe a pair of Havaianas to go along with. tadah! that's for 初二. and another day, maybe a pair of khakis pants and hmmmm some white top? i dunno. and that's for 初一. i think im not getting the Gap shirt anymore :/ we shall see. i think i'll need like $200 or more for the above mentioned.

anyway, as regards to school stuff, im left with like 1 and the final 1 HPM project to deal with b4 i end ALL the projects! hahaha. that's a very happy news. oh and i have to settle my resume and cover letter before monday. and TRY to start my REVISION! haha. time to pack my notes and print those that i missed out. FLO WANTS TO GET A GOOD GPA FOR THE LAST SEMESTER! wahahaha. im dead serious this time. and im gg to apply and try for NTU's Bachelor in Business (Marketing). coooool. very very very slim chance lah. but i'll try. hmph.

awwwww i feel so sinful now. had sushi at Fiesta at JP with kg after she did her report at my hse this noon. was lying on bed reading crayon shinchan for the whole day eating my Red Rock Deli-Honey Soy Chicken potato chips and Pods-mars bar from Candy Empire. hahaha. and my bee-bees. lol. kg finished her report at abt 8pm and we went jp to print her changi boardwalk photos and went Fiesta. didnt noe the sushi was that great! shall not go sakae ever again. let my pictures do the talking :Dour favourite sushi

woke up late at 9am today after beak called and i jumped out of bed and reached sch at 10. no lah i actually went back to slp a while more and took a cab. haha. went to sch for that STB talk for ATF. reached just in time and the talk ended soon after and we all took the STB van to St. James power station where we will be working for ATF on the 2nd, and swissotel for the opening ceremony on the 30th. st james is quite cool i can say. but whole place is reeked of cigarette smell. ew. whole thing ended before 12pm, instead of the 3pm as told yest.

went BK for lunch with beak,del,limei and lays (do u guys have a name or smth? lol.) and were laughing throughout the whole lunch. lol. went to shop for a while and me and beak went suntec to meet kg for the NTU talk. alamak. made me more headache and sad abt not studying hard enuf in yr 1 and yr 2. suffering now. and no CCA! argh. i think i can kiss NTU's B(Bus) marketing goodbye. cool course they offer for marketing but sigh. no such luck i guess. beak went home and we proceeded to marina square. shopped ard as usual. oh! mitsubishi was having a rdshow at the foyer and we went to play around with those cars. i like mit Colt! haha. shall not buy a kei car since its quite wierd. Colt it shall be! not Swift anymore! :D

took a bus to Vivo city. shopped ard looking at our loafers and u noe, CNY clothes. haha. nothing i fancy. marks and spencer's current season not so nice too. Tangs is cool. haha. handbags and shoes! oh at dinnertime i wanted to eat HK Kim Gary (yes beak and del, the one your Bosco endorsed. hahaha.) but the queue was super long. price was ok and food looks not bad at all. shall go next time. hmm and we ended up at Thai Accent where the queue was the least. haha. wanted Mango Sticky Rice for dessert that's why we went. its me and kg's first time having Thai food. haha. prawn wrapped with wanton skin and sour plum sauce as appetiser, pineapple rice and tom yam jap udon. oh and 30cents refillable iced water. haha.

12 hours to the test

one last thing to do before i slp--blog.

im getting more and more nervous now.. got many good luck msgs from my closed ones. even my mum. surprisingly she's quite concerned abt my driving. asking me if im nervous or not.. of cos i am! i treated driving so seriously, even more serious than my exams. although i noe the retest is like 2 months away, i cant afford to fail, im telling myself that. i cant disappoint Mr Ang my instructor, Splat! who's waiting for me to drive them out for supper, and of cos meiyan and gang.. like wad dearest kg said, STAY POSITIVE. im always positive, in fact, too positive. my mind kept flashing scenes when the tester told me i've passed, and suddenly another flash of scene depicting wad will happen if i fail.. unfortunately one the first among my close friends to take the test, 3 days before meiyan. arghhhh so nervous. im worried i'd become so nervous i'd get an immediate failure, my S course.. my vertical parking which suck more than parallel.. omgomgomg.. never in my life am i so nervous.. BUT i tell myself.. stay calm.. and everything's gg to be ok :D may all the God(s) bless me.. ok i shall go outside to pray pray to my Duabehgong and go have a good rest now.. wish me lucks ppl..

had dinner at Pasta Fresca with splat! on friday evening. the long awaited dinner date at pasta fresca! cool. nice handmade pasta and super nice hawaiian pizza. unfortunately my nose bled halfway through the meal and i was too full to finish the spaghetti. the have cool toilets. haha. but the furnishings shld be improved though. nice =D

walked to the 6th ave bus stop for a chillout at holland village after that. beak and i nearly got knocked down by a stupid Lexus! was scared awake instantaneously. haha. went coffee club for tea. had rosebud tea. and garlic bread with cheese. hmm. not very nice food and not very nice service but there's a cute waiter. haha. talked till abt 10+ and we all went home.

slept till 1+pm today. haha. wad a good slp. rotted at home till abt 6pm and met with kg at JP. passed her my digicam and we had Subway for dinner. sher joined us after her work. and we went Swensens for ice cream. had apple crumble. haha. and fries. boohooo. 50bucks gone in 2 days. haha.

oh! and *****DRUM ROLLS**** it's officially 1 day to my TP test! omg! *nervous stomach* im so bloody nervous kg suggested i go bugis temple for a pray. shall go tmr after my last driving lesson. haha. fucking nervous lah. omg. pray for the best :D

2007!

HAPPY 2007!!

the last day of 2006 was spent fruitfully i can say. after meeting kg in town, realised that Spotlight was closed for the night and art friend at taka was closed, too. so she couldn't buy her stuff for project and we went to Dome for our last dinner of 2006. haha. had honey baked ham sandwich and a basket of crabcakes and chicken rings and of cos the iced choc gelato. hahaha. sher ended work early so she was with us. and we sat till closing when they were celebrating their manager's bday. we had Goodwood park hotel's durian cake. superbly nice. it was 11pm when we leave Dome.

we didnt want to squeeze at Esplanade so we decided to loiter and hanf ard town while waiting for time to pass. we were disgustingly shocked at the number of FWs present in town. scary! police had to do routine checks too. we were like walking in little india. hahaha. and i assumed that they paraded from little india to town since it's near. in the end we sat outside Specialist's Starbucks while waiting for 12am. those FWs at opposite was howling and whistling for no good reason. so time slipped and it was 12am. no countdown or anything at all. just human traffic.

we walked and walked to Istana park and saw some fireworks on top of park mall. greatttt. sat down there to talk and we saw liyu and her bf there. so coincidental. we talked for like 1hr+ before proceeding to walk again. we broke record mere minutes after 2007 reached. we actually walked from shaw house to istana park to art musuem to stamford house to raffles city to suntec to esplanade to fullerton hotel and finally stopped at raffles place mrt. couldnt call a cab and we were pratically stranded at raffles place. it was like 2am+. NR was packed. luckily liyu came over in their cab and fetched us back. sleepover at kg's hse. hahaha.

had to wake up early morning to go back to town to get materials for her proj. we were like zombies lah. haha. took cab from PS back home as we were tired and i had to rush home for the family gathering. haha. watched my dad play mahjong and we juniors were given the opportunity to play 4winds. hahaha. dad lost abt $100 in the end. had steamboat too. i reckon steamboat isnt the best thing to have esp when there's 20 over ppl. oh the motive for this gathering was to gather everyone since my youngest uncle came back from taiwan with his family and are going back tmr. saw my 2 cousins i've nv seen b4. so taiwanese. but cute. haha. had fun watching them play mahjong, and everyone was looking forward to CNY when there's 2 tables of mahjong at my granny's hse. haha. i like my aunts (gu gu). mahjong seems so fun with them playing. nice gathering. i like them, my paternal side, unlike my maternal side. pui. CNY was always bad cos we have to go over to maternal side FIRST every Chu yi. hmph. anyway. my new year resolution! thought of it just now.

p/s: oh. while playing mahjong, my aunt spotted a whole stretch of rainbow opposite my flat. everybody was so happy to see it. 7 obvious colours. awesome view. somehow the rainbow brightened up my day, or maybe even my year. :D
