MRSH completed

finally completed the proposal. my first ever year 3 project with my new group mates. not a good thing, really. my grp is the only 5-member as compared to the other 3 groups with 4 in each team. Yet, workload is the most for me. 1 went taiwan holiday-ing without emailing us her promised Introduction. another 1 using 1st person term to type, and works really s..l..o...w... in the end it;s double workload for me. the other 2 were good. i dun really have to edit anything. 1 even did her part from 12am yest night till 7am this morning. nearly cocked up when my laptop cannot add the network printer at level 5. but luckily heng ping was there and she brought along thumbdrive, which i conveniently have forgotten to bring. sher help me by gg level 6 to print instead. phew. thanks ppl! paid the binding fee myself ($#%^@#$#) and den submit myself. no grp mate was around. sigh. i can predict the level of stress-ness i am going to get for future projects =/

im broke! went town after completing my part of the project with qi. she went to cut her hair finally. den she bought 2 shirts and we both bought the same braziliano praia. NP students get 20% off! saved $10 on tt. wahaha. yup. so we went home like a happy kid :)

Vesak Day

i guess nobody will really 'celebrate' vesak day lah. happy extra public hols instead =]

Cocktail party was quite fun afterall, and i went home and took a quick bath and off i went to JP to meet shir. our plan for the day was to go tuition centre to visit our tutor. den we had mos burger. gratin burger was nice! den met up with lek hao and weixian at tuition centre. there were no lights at from the staircase area,and to our horror! turned out that students and teachers went for their post-mid yr exams break liao. =/ wasted trip + wasted famous amos cookies.

went to shir's hse. saw elliot!! soOoOoO cute! a baby in a family really makes a diff. whaahah. cute cute cute. den we pumped air for her bicycles and went cycling ard her estate. bored till we went to count how many houses are there in the whole yunnan estate. LOL. we stopped at 129!! the border. shall continue and count the insides the next time we cycle again :D. cool. cycled for abt an hour. den after a while her mum drove me home :D thanks! what a consolation for not able to see our tutor :P

Real schoolwork have started.

Eve of Labour Day

eve of labour day! went to science centre's Sakura International Buffet with my family, aunt, uncle and cousins just now. waited for like 1+hour b4 it's our turn cos my dumb mother didn't call to reserve seats for the 9 of us. yeap. my first time having buffet at Sakura. Service was not bad although most of the waitresses are young malay girls, just like pizza hut. 9 of us had to be separated into 5 table of 2s. there's alot of varieties, even more than Seoul Garden. from sashimi, to sushi, some overcooked fusilli with ham and cheese, grilled lamb,chicken and beef steak, otah and satay, grilled dory fillet (very delicious), claypot drunken prawns(was good too), claypot black chicken, fresh oysters and prawns, oily ebi, nuggets, and dim sum like lou mai kai and siew mai. creamy mushroom soup were very nice. desserts were good. lots of ice cream flavour in tubs and puddings, mini NY cheese cakes, mini oreo cheesecakes, alot of other mini cakes, and fruits like longan and grapes. drinks were good, like hot milo,cuppucino,espresso, fruit punch, orange juice and coke etc.

i found the $26 not very worth it as i didnt really eat much. a few mouthfuls here and there. but i muz praise the ordering system. 4 clips with our table number attached are given to us. and if u want something that needs the chef to cook, like grilled dory fillet for example, u just place the clip on the thin metal pole at the food there. cooked ones will be served to u in a short while and the clips will be returned to u. wonderful isn't it? quite a good system. but food weren't exactly as nice.

we went IMM after that and shopped at Giant. super long queue and we waited for 45minutes before paying up our groceries=/ alot of waitings today.

sch started on monday. =/ new semester, new classmates. i dunno anybody in my class before E-mkting lecture, but got to know a girl in my class after the REAL Programme briefing. my class's major project will be vPost. training to be held at Singpost HQ at paya lebar on this fri morning. sigh. I hate changes, too.

Holidays

my holidays were spent quite fulfilling. and i realised there's alot of things one can do without working, getting salary and stuff like that. before the start of holidays, i was insisting that we shld get a job so that time can pass faster and we can buy new clothes and bags for the coming sch term. then up till now den i realised that days can pass quite fsat too, without working. though we will be poorer in terms of $$ as compared to those who work during hols, we gained alot. haha. talking abt opportunity costs.

this hols, i've went kboxing, alot of mahjong sessions, swimming, watched korean drama (HK one next), sleep like i nv sleep b4, worked for IT show and erm well, 1 day natas ( and earned $400 i think), aimless shopping trips and window shopping, reformatted my laptop, read 2 books, nono. 4 books instead. A child called It, The Lost boy, A man named Dave, and DS's Johnny Angel, bought a new hp, grocery shopped, cleaned my toilet, did hsehold chores and im gg to watch Internal Affairs (I II III) from sher later. oh and i muz buy crocs this hols. hahah.

results were not very good as usual, but i think i deserved it. and i got into marketing and tourism acad subplan B, which sucked. and im gg to appeal. yes. into tourism.

Life is great, at the moment. =]

The Return

hey! im back to the blogging world! i missed my laptop! gosh. laptop crashed on the last day of exams and got to send it to mel. and de n was internet-less for a week! but checked email and used my desktop briefly during that week. and today my laptop is back very,very clean. hard disk was changed. and damn toshiba didnt screw my laptop properly that time i changed the keyboard. now i cannot get the 2 screws back. toshiba sucks! gonna sell this and change to a lighter and better laptop when i go into the working society.

ws totally into holiday mood after the last paper. the week was spent shopping in town, having sinful dinners and reading books before i go to bed. and last 4 days was spent in suntec working for canon's IT show. damn cool. i love IT shows. great bargains on the 6th level and i managed to get screen protector for my k750i at only $4.90! 50% off and it's great! lol. oh and peiwen was working as a promoter too. saw rena and gang working as promoters for acer beside us. oh 4 days and $300+ goes into our pockets. =D

oh and we decided not to work this holidays! muz play like mad, if not muz go IAP/OIAP next hols liao. =/ hope can work for NATAS and EBAA to get extra cash =)

Social Innovators Forum

went to SMU's social entrepreneurship innovators forum after my last class for this sem with mr.d . had a short presentation den rushed and took cab down with sher,beak and qi. initially only wanted to take cab down with sher and pass the invitation card to pw and liyu, but usherer said there's no dress code so we went in together. fell asleep while the GOH, some minister of dunno wad, spoke. den woke up when the whole forum started. very very inspiring. at first i dun noe wad they were saying abt social intrepreneurs. den slowly got the gist of it and got quite inspired. elim chew of 77th street was very friendly i guess. sher and liyu went to talk to her after the forum. there's this feminist of china, Mdm Wu Qing. so damn cute lah her. look like any typical ah-ma but i got a shock when she started to speak. her english damn power! i guess she speaks the best english from the 1 billion population in china! whoa! think she lived in america for a while when she was young. everybody was so humorous and so relaxed. didnt stay for the whole thing. went off at 5pm. den took bus to suntec and went to find something to cure our stomach. NYDC in the end. the service sucks, the food suck even more. argh. wun go there the next time. =/

St. Valentine's Day

happy valentine's day! today marks the 18th single valentine's day in my life. lol. how sad. but nvm i have my friends =D busy with projects and projects and projects. oh and valentine's day mark the last presentation i'll have with sher,mich and peiwen. the last project already. how time flies eh? still can remember the 1st project we did tgt. written comm. became great project mates since. we often get good grades for proj u noe! except for this blaw proj lah. crazy tutor. lol. we got A for HRM! hahah. gd gd. did our first and last video on sat. and recorded our voices this afternoon. oh and valentine's day mark the last tutorial for TB05. den we'll be separated into different classes of different major. though we didnt really like our class, think time have made us blend into it and sort of became 'one big family'. gotta get out of this comfort zone soon. took them for granted too much. sigh.

CNY!

it's CNY! an annual routine once a year. went BL shopping centre's BL raja restaurant for reunion dinner with my maternal side. everything was ok till this s'pore version Zhu Ge Liang came out and was very very noisy on stage. a few tone-deafed women were singing, and the ZGL suddenly became God of Fortune. den he went to every table to give lucky numbers. food very not very good though. steamboat would be better and tastier. den went chinatown for a walk and the countdown. bought lots of foodstuff and waited for the countdown and the firecrackers. IT WAS SUPER CROWDED THERE! wanted to watch the live performance after our McNuggets meal break at mac, but the crowd outside was beyond control. near-stampede situation. somehow i was swayed to outside Lim Chee Guan, and reunited with family and stood there to watch firecrackers. anyway i did not mind the crowd cos there was many many ang mohs there. from US,UK and aust. hahahaha. no more FWs this time, but there's china chinese men. hmph. i dun mind squeezing with ang mohs lah. hahaha. more friendly with them. anyway the firecrackers were great. my 1st time in my life hearing it 'live'. super loud and it made my momentarily deaf! hahaha! and the fireworks were great too. but was blocked by a tree. went home after that.

1st day of CNY! woke up at 1030 and got my 1st ang pao from uncle. den had vegetarian breakfast b4 gg out at 1pm. as usual, went to my mum's real side that family. my uncle's hse at yishun. one-stop ang pao collecting. very very boring there. veryyyyyyy. not on talking terms with my cousins there u see. not close one. den we left for my paternal grandma's hse after a very delicious lunch at that uncle's hse. traffic jammed very badly till tiong bahru. another one-stop ang pao collecting station. and i realised i really resembles my dad. or rather his side. haha. thin and lanky (heh.) . and im one of the tallest there! im taller than all my uncles. hahaha. very boring also. very very boring... stayed for 5 hrs there. anyway dinner was great too. hokkien lunch, cantonese dinner. hehe. yummy. lotus soup, abalone with vege, prawns, steamed fish, fu yong eggs etc. yummy yummy. rotted in front of tv most of the time. and den came home at 9pm. lidat lor. 1st day gone lidat. going uncle's condo tml and my grandma's hse. more ang pao. whahaha. got 25 ang paos today. =]

had a long but great day yest. met up with IS classmates at 12pm in sch. den had limei's grp's events in sch. we were dressed super embarassingly and muz go canteen 1 to complete our task with that new 'image' of ours. my route was Magnifier, and i was dressed with a plaster on my nose, 2 clips on my hair and a clothes peg on my shirt. and! a towel on my neck. and i muz use a magnifying glass to supposedly go around and look at ppl. lucky imran angela and jon was there. i spent my 5mins talking to them and let them laughed at. the whole thing was quite fun. succeeded i guess. =)

ended at abt 2+pm. next was shahmen's grp. met up at holland village at 3+pm. oh we went this french bakery Provence at the opposite of the ipoh horfun shop to get some bread. super nice bread! a must-try! and for their grp, we muz find anyone at holland village and talk to them. strangers lah. we muz break that barrier within us. i was paired up with limei and i went coffee bean. and guess wad? I SAW MR. MIYAGI THERE! couldn't believe my eyes. wanted to talk to him but i didnt dare. so i aimed at an ang moh lady in front of him. an expat's wife from UK. talked for abt 1min and i went cold storage to find sher (miyagi is her fav blogger u see) and she immediately went to cofee bean with me. sat beside hiim and qi sort of spoke to him. hahaha. didnt managed to talk to him in the end. so disappointed with sher. hahahaha. oh. we went eskibar after that. with only the 4 of us inside eskibar. not really fun though. that in-charge was wierd. kept following us. anyway the freezer room was cool=]] gin coke was nice, lychee martini not nice. was there for abt an hour or so den went off.

went town with qi and beak after that while sher took cab home. they went to buy CNY clothes. managed to get all their stuff at heeren. wahaha. qi got a le coq white shirt from Check and beak got a puma one. and another one from Everlast. cool. went liat towers orange julius for a drink and we sat there and chatted for like an hour? hahaha. cool breeze. super nice weather. rushed to JE for meepok supper after that with qi. hahah. very nice meepok with iced barley =]]] i nearly got ran down by a @#!$%^& citycab.

went jp after sch today with qi and bought some manicure stuff. manicure service was fully booked at that 3rd level store so we decided not to do it. bought a buffer and sally hansen's nail strengthening polish. and a korean cucumber mask. very nice! napped for like 4 hrs and cooked udon for dinner. muz help clean up the hse tml already. and wash toilet too. no cny mood leh.

anyway, wishing all a very happy chinese new year! gong xi fa cai!!!!

this sem is crazy. mad. extreme. siao. anything u can find on the thesarus. crazy.
busier than last sem, really. never ending projects and common tests.

damn it. CT2 now. had CMA. sigh. flunking i guess. den there's ECD test on wed. sucks. 8 chpts to study in 2 1 day. it's 30%. sigh. and it's like about 1 month to the final exams. sigh. nth seems to go smoothly recently. and after CNY hols there's this bloody hell super duper major ECD project to be due on the 3rd. 30+pages of report+ financial plans and we have not done a single shit. f*ck it. everyone hates ngeeann now i suppose. poly was supposed to be fun and everything, but not now. i doubt i can go into tourism next year. argh.

cant wait for this sem to end so that we can at least have a little rest b4 earning some keep for the month. argh i hate my life.

oh, and grey's anatomy is great! nice! a must-watch!

End of CNY Shopping

CNY shopping almost done. very happy! shopped for almost 6 hours continuously around suntec and marina. and she finally got a jeans from Dorothy Perkins and a top form BritishIndia. woohoo. very nice. thanks to me! lol. while i didnt get anything. im done with my CNY shopping! bought a Le Coq shirt at heeren tt day for my CNY 1st day. still sort of lacking one jeans. but cant find a good one. Polo RL's nice but quite ex leh. $160+.

anyway, had Ramen Ramen for lunch (!!!), B&J's for high tea. and a late 9pm dinner at suntec foodcourt. boon tong kee's chicken rice. and i bought durian puffs form 717 Trading!!! super nice durian puffs for durian lovers. real durian inside! hahah. 2 thumbs up =).

will be very busy lately. CMA CT2 on mon, haven done a single shit. ECD's test also. seems tough. cos nv attend lect b4. and ECD's proj!!! die die die. alot alot and it's due after CNY. oh no. but we all seemed quite happy during this busy period. haha. wierd. nobody's complaining. oh and the headache-Events Mgmt. tml's our event! at orchard! seems like nobody in the class knows their stuff. and gotta go cemetry for another grp's events. eerie.

CNY Shopping

had great shopping trips this past weekend. ok lah, not so great maybe. didnt manage to get anything in these 2 days. started with gg orchard on sat with qi, jx and yan. kinda moody on sat. and i didnt get a single shit. only spent on food. yeah! great dim sum at swee chun's at jalan besar. walked to bugis after that and shopped awhile at seiyu den took train home.

went town with qi on sun. nonono. bugis first. hell lots of ppl there. imagine there's ppl overflowing at tt junction between bugis village and bugis junction. whoa. tried an Abercrombie and Fitch polo tee but not the right size. and super small fitting room. and den to bugis junction. and shopped around. nothing at all. but qi managed to get a cargo pants from Dorothy Perkins. nice clothes there. den took 7 back to town and went birkenstock shop at wheelock.there's a super bad attitude salesman down there. damn him. had great but sinful dinner at Fish&Co. the last time we got cheated!! kola tonic can be refilled for many times! hahaha.

i like to shop for clothes with one friend only. i mean, with another person only and not with one whole bunch of friends who do not have the same taste. it's time-wasting and temper-boiling for me. when there's only 2 ppl shopping, and with taste about the same, it's easier to shop and one can look out clothes for the other. and wun go missing easily.

anyway. went to isetan after dinner. extended shopping hours till 10.30pm! nice. with very very little ppl in the store, very nice to shop. no queues for fitting rooms too=) tried on a few clothes but not nice. levis also. getting fatter already =(
had Gelatissimo!!! the one from Sydney! wahahaha. friendly staff who scoop mouthfuls to let us try different ice creams. had Veronese Chocolate in the end. nice! took bus home after that. tired.

it's gonna be a busy week i guess. one more week to CT2. and muz shop for CNY clothes. and prepare ppt slides for HRM and BLAW. argh. gotta do CMA tutorial now! byeeeeee.

i noe it's high time i update my blog. it's common test week and im left with one last paper tml. bloody hell. wad a date. making everyone (i suppose) not concentrating on this HRM paper. it's weekends after FMGT and it's public holidays after HRM! oh my gawd. but have to rush BLAW and HRM project after that. sighs.

seriously lack of slp this whole week. slept about 3 hours every weekday. O.O dark rings. anyway, still pondering whether to go for HRM tut tml. hope to get some hints from tutor.

anyway, CNY's coming! so have u all bought ur CNY clothes? lol. not for me(us). can only buy it after projects. :/ nth much happened recently. oh yah. watched the ren ci charity show juz now. poor thing. got affected by tt NKF incident. sigh. Singaporeans.
