Genting
okok i promised to blog. super lazy to blog nowadays. hmm.
got my DS Lite (finally!) last wednesday, one day b4 i go genting. hehehehe. Brain age! super fun. excited. den came home to fiddle with it. went to sch early morning 8am for my IS. damn boring. and tiring. den off i go to genting!!! it's been 5 years since i last been there. ok lah change quite abit. was given 18 seater seats when departing. damn cool. haha. watched the mahjong movie part 2 and 1 more b4 i fell asleep. but by the time i slp, we're at the foot of the hill alrd. haha. reached there at 3.30am. early rite. haha. den walked all the way from the bus terminal to resort hotel lobby.
damnit i tell u. resort under renovation after they finished genting hotel's. gotta check in at the ballroom. so not nice. den we checked our luggage in at the bell counter and off we go. had breakfast at mac at 4am. haha. super boring. mum and sister went casino and so me and my dad waited at the 'lobby' till 6am when we can start checking in.
first thing we did was to slp! haha. slept till 9+ and woke up to bath and den went to shop ard. genting is damn boring. nth to shop, nth to eat. was forced to shop with my sister when my parents went casino. bought starbucks back to hotel but i shld have bought the after coffee gums too. food were bloody expensive by the way. sucky food, sucky price. only fast food was nice. KFC! shiok. pizza hut sucks too. tried gg casino but nope, i look too young :D
woke up early moring 7+am to catch the first bus to Pasarayak (KL) to shop and to eat. reached there at 11am. ate at the 'chinese village' beside the bus terminal. very nice food! local chinese food but not dirty. haha. den took a cab to Mid Valley. whoa. my mum is very li hai i tell u! her malay is so fluent i cannot believe it! imagine she can converse with the malays in malaysia. and cabbies. whoa! haha. and my dad's cantonese. whooo. almighty in malaysia leh! hahhaa. anyway now is a very good time to shop at mid valley! deepavali + hari raya sale! almost 50% everywhere. saw a nice adidas jacket. but too ex. RM279! cant bear to buy it. that puma polo tee i like too. nv buy also. only bought a levi's red tab and diesel t shirt. hehe. den we rushed and took a cab back to pasarayat to catch the bus back to genting. ta pao their chicken rice back too. super nice! haha. had to rush back to watch Fong Fei Fei's concert at night.
anyway speaking of the concert. super nice lah. although i dun listen to her songs. but she's damn power man. ahaah. alot of uncles and aunties. oh! my mum just told me that my uncle went too but we didnt see him. he took the fri morning coach. haha. after concert me and my dad went back to hotel to slp while my mum and sister went casino again. i slept like almost 24hrs in the 3d2n at genting. haha. slept till 10+am the next day while they all went casino. haha. goes to show how boring is genting. had pizza and checked out and den took bus back to s'pore lo. ahah. reached home at 8.30pm. yeap.

TV, school

i seems to be forgetting tv shows. i'd religiously forget Grey's Anatomy every monday night, and now forgetting Chu Lu on friday nights too. all the shows that gave me a reason to keep that tv in my room year after year. as u can see, tv shows are getting more and more boringgggg. then i realise that the backstage ppl (scriptwriters especially) are now different from the end 1990s- start of 2000s of the times. those ppl must have earned enuf and have retired now. now the only decent show is the 9pm diamond show. haha. channel 8 shld bring back more classics! damn the old cheena shows!
anyway, sch will be starting on monday. argh. dread it. but i kinda miss school days. taking 154 every morning, rushing to buy a bottle of apple tea and den rush to tutorials on the dot, getting tgt with Splat! for lunch whenever possible, chatting as much as possible even though there's only 1 hr of break, crashing lectures, going co-op and spend 10mins there choosing which sweet to buy, and end up buying the same ol' sweet (ricola herb or clorets), going lectures with beak and chatting away at the later part of lect, and of cos going home squeezed in the bus with qi. haha. and now there's Cheers, we can have cup noodles before going home! haha. but we will start to complain once sch starts. wanting a break again. but let's hope we will treasure this semester more cos it will be our last semester. everything will become history after Chinese new year =/

shopping
days are sure boring without having to work. went bugis temple late afternoon with qi and headed to vivocity after that. chey, not very impressed also. lots of shops not opened yet. marks and spencer was great! yah very different theme as compared to the other branches. choco digestives are nice too! enuf to fill our stomach till we take 188 and reach IMM for fish and co. new extended areas are opened. pepper lunch, ajisen, fish and co, mos, giordano, esprit,S&K. tell me, is there any difference with orchard? we concluded today that there's a very big problem with shopping centres. small stores, only the space are different and location different. other than that, nth else. and i canot understand why ppl (including us lah haha) muz go to town area to shop when there's an identical shop nearby us. haha. mentality.

updates
i'm in love and crazy with Nintendo DS Lite. haha. tried Brain Age at Courts today. fun!! im bent on getting one b4 i go genting with my family on 19th so i can play on my way there. harvest moon! zoo tycoon! brain age! cant wait to get them. but $. no pay has arrive yet. bleah. muz buy Dome coffee card too. anybody wants to buy? very worth it! for $38, u can get to drink 10 cups of coffee, hot or cold! original price ranges from $4+ to $6! cheap rite? want to buy tell me! (see sher, i so good to u!)
catching up with splat! was great. met at Shaw house's Dome on tuesday after our last day at work. food was great! the combi, tortilla, and banana cake!! nice. and cafe latte was great at only $3.80 (helping to promote again). spent less than 10bucks in total thanks to sher. we didnt see each other for a whole week or so and there were endless of things to talk abt. so we shall have such meetups for 10 times! (the number of cups of coffee u can get with $38 dome card) LOL.
