First attempt

嘿嘿，这次让我来用华语发讲我的感言吧。
怎么说我也是个A2学生。哈。
最近，我有了新的偶像 <---sounds like compo. LOL.
我从来没有那么欣赏一个人哦
他就是台湾的超级人气王 -- 杨~宗~纬!!!

最近刚发片

刚刚下班后，一个人跑到 CD-RAMA
还以为新加坡没卖他的专辑
没想到以剩下最后一张了
犹豫了好久
以经有好几年没有一鼓冲动想买专辑了
但最后我还是没买
好希望会有改版
那我一定买哦

好希望他会来新加坡宣传新专辑
上 youtube 看了好多他的通告和宣传
从超级星光大道
到我猜
从以前到现在
短短的半年
人帅多了
也没那么涵蓄了
好欣赏他的那把会催泪的嗓音
好欣赏他的幽默感
好欣赏他对唱歌的热忱
真的真的好欣赏他的才华

Learnt something new today. And it really helps.

"Shower (as in bathe) away your unhappiness away and you'll be fine after a while"

One of my close colleague made this passing remark when she heard that I've some unhappiness at work today. With her 3 years' worth of experience, I asked if she've done the same old thing for these 3 years?

"Nope" she said. she worked at 3 different sections in the dept. It set me thinking. Who am I to complain when they all were contract staff for 2 years b4 getting converted while im only 6 mths into the contract and got converted.

Hmmm. Maybe I'm just sick and tired of my jobscope. I need a change. Like, suddenly quitting my job and do something I'll never get to do once i graduate from uni. Like Starhub or something. hmmm. But I always tell myself. For that 1 years' worth of experience. I must bear with it.

HAPPY 2008!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! :D :D :D

Here are some of the things i did/achieved in 2007:

- Finished my last examinations in Ngee Ann in Feb.

- Somehow i forgot what i did from Feb to May. haha. but did went thru a rough patch but everything was eventually solved and made me more mature :D

- Found a job at O**C Bank in May (im not supposed to mention the name in my blog. it's against banking policy you see. duh. how dumb.) as a bank officer in the cards dept.

- Attended Graduation Ceremony in June with my mum.

- Got to know a bunch of NUS peeps who came to work as temps at the dept. they made my working life very colourful. but too bad they all went back school in July.

- After the undergrads gone, got to know other contract staff better. made good friends with some of them. im lucky i have very good colleagues.

- Passed my TP in July and got my license before i turn 20! very very happy about this, mainly i dun have to pay so much for the lessons anymore. woohoo.

- My family got a weekend car shortly after i passed . everybody says im very lucky. yes i noe, im very very lucky i can make full use of the license. a red Getz.

- Celebrated beak's and qi's bday at Coca.

- Celebrated sher's bday in oct at tian tian steamboat.

- Celebrated jx's, meiyan's and my bday at pizza hut. got a white Baby G as birthday present.

- My 20th birthday! OMG. very sad that i turned 20. not a teen anymore. boooo.

Yup that's abt it. not much recollection but i think i learnt alot in 2007. grew and matured alot ever since i stepped into the working world. im looking forward into going back to school in 2008. anyway here's my wishlist/resolution for 2008:

- Get a pair for specs. heh. and shades!
- More angpao money this year. hopefully. to fund myself for the specs and shades.
- Beak to be safe and sound when she reach nz and everything will go well there and come back 3/4 years later!
- Slim digicam for myself
- Tioman trip!
- Hongkong trip with the family
- Short trips over weekends like Batam etc.
- Pimp my ride! get more accessories for the car like rear mirror, door guards, pillows for front seats, tissue cover and a steering wheel cover!
- Pass my bridging course to get exemptions
- Start school successfully in July
- 21st birthday ):

The Sunday Blogger

i realised that my last update was on sunday, and seems like i only got the feel to update on sunday, so thast leaves me the sunday blogger! heh. i'll update every sunday then. let's see what happened this week..

Monday-Thursday
let me cut this short. haha. work work work and still work. getting more stress lately cos of the added pile of reconciliation i have to do. ahhh shall not disclose any further. career suicide. anyway, it's boring lahh. nth much. skip.

Friday
TGIF! hmmm. but this friday was not a good one. you see, i got to do OT cos i got to wait for a very impt recon to be handed to me from a malay lady. but being very slow, she shld have given me by 3pm. but it was 6pm and i've not received anything. so without any instructions, i tot im supposed to wait. so i waited. and waited. till 6.45pm. then my immediate boss was around my area teaching another newbie. and there's 2 very fucking irritating ITE girls (1 of them is a perm clerk now) was so loud and they treated the office like their living room. hysterical laughters, shouting at the top of their voices. so damn irritating. then my boss scolded them. but they still continue, still got the cheek to say they waiting for their boyfriend and downstairs dun have chairs for them to sit. grrrr. den my boss mood no good la. den she came to me and ask me alot of qns on recon which i dun really understand. den she kinda say that she ask 10 qns and i dunno 5. b4 this she didnt scold me b4 mind u. and i felt so... speechless. and it was then i was told i dun have to wait. greatttt. think i dun want my friday night?? wasted bloody 45mins there.

within a min i packed up and left. i felt so.. ahh dunno how to describe that feeling. it's like, im being thrown more work, but nobody understands the stress and workload. how great. do on monday morning. as if mondays are not busy enuf. damnit.

went IMM while kg went for her driving lesson. had dinner at fish&co and then went home.

Saturday
drove to bugis to pray with kg, then to chinatown to shop for her grandma's bday gift at OG. bought some toiletries there too. came home and ordered pizza delivery. had 10 drumlets!!! how fufilling. hahahah. watched some tv and sent her home after sinful supper at taman jurong. oh btw, my family went malacca during the weekends, so the house is under my care. ha! slept very late at 4am thanks to the nice teh tarik. lol.

Sunday
woke up at 11am surprisingly early and lai chuang till 12+. bathed and bought lunch and off i went to collect the bags we all bought online at commonwealth. kg came with me though. had a hard time locating her. went to the sheng siong area when she's supposed to be at the clementi town area. duh. troublesome. and to our disappointment the bags are of lousy quality. no more online bags next time. ):
dispatched all the bags and came back to wash the car. finally bought car shampoo at caltex. took more than an hour to clean the car. heh. my form of exercise. after washing it i went to sheng siong for tidbits shopping. have to stock up my tidbits in office. i was so hungry i ate yan yan while driving back home. ha. and that's my sunday for u. (:(:(:

omggggg im feeling the blue now.. monday blueeeeeee...

Updates

i need to have the motivation to make myself update this blog more often. and i think i found the source of motivation. i want to update so that my friends, esp very good friends whom i dun get to meet very often, can get the updates of my life. i want to keep a record so that in future when im free, i can backtrack the blog entries and laugh at what i used to write, and even memorable events that happened.

well, this weekend was a weekend well spent. had supper at rochor tau huay with kg after her meetup with her poly friends. we decided to eat in the car and that's when tragedy happened. i accidentally spilled the bowl of almost-finished tau huay towards the handbrake direction and it got into my seatbelt hole, inside the handbrake and on the carpet and seat. spent some time cleaning it and the car couldn't start! i thought i will have to call the towing service already but in the end i restarted it and it was able to start.

on sat, we went actpoint to have a haircut after fetching my mum, aunt and sister to the singpost at paya lebar to shop at this fashion -_- but anson cut my hair too short this time round. oh shit. but nvm. we went suntec to meetup with beak. she was there for the autograph session of her boy. haha. had pastamania for dinner and went to meet sher at holland village coffee club. haha. it's been almost a month since we met up. we went off earlier this time since sher was working early on sunday. fetched them home and then home sweet home.

woke up at 12pm on sunday. went to have our brows trimmed and went jp for lunch at mos. walked around and i have to come home to go for dinner with the family in the evening. it's my mum's 50th birthday tmr! heh. so old liao lor. bought her a bonia handbag. sister treated us and my aunt to dinner at Xin Wang hk restaurant. purposely ordered alot. heh. 100+ for the dinner. walked around and off we went to tampines Courts. nothing much. but i've learnt how to go so next time i can fetch beak and kg to the ikea! heh.

that's all for my weekends. but oh no my pre-monday blues are getting more serious already. whole monday will be blue-y. and i realised lots of ppl are wearing black on monday. haha. ok im off to do my mask liao. hahaha.

p/p/s: To my very very good poly friend,
i didn't have the courage to admit yesterday, that i've read your entry on lj. and i didn't have the courage to apologise. although i treated as nth much had happened during the meetup, before that i was actually nervous b4 meeting u. i think miscommunications happen when we seldom meet up and chat and stuff like that. but all i want to say is that i really dun mean like what u mentioned in your entry. it was all lighthearted-ly chatting. i didnt realise you perceived it this way though i thought u sounded wierd during the good-byes. as for our dear friend, i dun mean that way when i say 'we are not in a position to tell her what to do'.. i just thought that she will get out of this somehow since she knows what we meant.. anyway, my blog entries are for you, my dear friend. i want to keep u updated of my life and not drifting apart. i want you to leave this country with fond memories of us. and i promise i will continue to blog at least until u finish your studies and come back to sg (:
i just dun have to courage to tell you.. that i'm sorry if i've disappointed u in that chat that night..

im back to blog! like finally! hahahaha. done up the tagboard already. make this blog lively again! heh. i want to start another blog in Wordpress. heh. see if i manage to learn how to do it. that's all! good night!
